Any experienced user of Squarespace understands the convenience of logging into their account simply by pressing the Esc key on their keyboard. It's a great shortcut that saves a lot of time. And because it's enabled by default, this means that all users can take advantage of it without having to set anything up.
WordPress has the ability to do something similar, but it requires a plugin in order to do so. The plugin is called QuickLogin, which can be downloaded here. You can also install this plugin by searching for it using the WordPress Dashboard. Hover over 'Plugins' in the sidebar and click on 'Add New' to bring up the search.
Once QuickLogin is installed and activated, test it by going to your website and pressing the Esc key. If you are taken to the WordPress login page, then you have successfully set up the plugin.
