The days of needing a notebook or desktop for editing photos are long over. Thanks to what seems to be an endless amount of creative apps available today, we now have the convenience of getting some serious work done right from our phones and tablets. And with the recent introduction of the iPad Pro, things got even better.
Photoshop Fix, one of my favorite iPad Pro apps to date, is an outstanding app that allows for professional-grade editing and repairing while on the go. For this particular post, I’m going to concentrate on the latter.
Repairing photos is something that has always fascinated me, and it’s no different with Photoshop Fix. Using the Healing tool, you are able to instantly remove parts of a photo as if they were never there. This can be very handy in a variety of scenarios.
Watching the video below, you will see just how easy it is to remove logos and text from the plane — all from the convenience of the iPad Pro. Photoshop Fix is also available on the iPhone, iPad mini and iPad Air, but there is definitely a sense of increased accuracy when using the Apple Pencil with the iPad Pro. The experience simply feels natural.
The Healing tool is just the beginning, as Photoshop Fix offers a variety of tools and adjustments to mess around with — including Liquify and even the ability to alter facial expressions.
Photoshop Fix allows you to save your work via Creative Cloud, providing the convenience of picking up where you left off on a different device. The app is completely free to use and definitely something I recommend.
